Carbon Free Hose

A Carbon Free Hose is specially designed for cooling-water transfer and applications requiring high electrical insulation. Manufactured using non-conductive and flame-retardant rubber compounds, it helps reduce the risk of electrical current passing through the hose.

It is commonly used in steel mills, foundries, induction furnaces and electrical machinery where heat resistance, flexibility and electrical safety are essential.

Typical Hose Construction

• Inner Tube: White EPDM synthetic rubber, heat-resistant and electrically non-conductive
• Reinforcement: Multiple layers of high-tensile synthetic cord with fibreglass cloth support
• Outer Cover: Black neoprene-blend synthetic rubber resistant to flame, abrasion, weather and electrical conductivity
• Properties: Carbon-free, flame-retardant, heat-resistant and electrically insulating
• Working Pressure: Available according to the required industrial specification
• Temperature Range: -30°C to +120°C
• End Connections: Custom fittings and complete assemblies available
