TOYOX® TOYOSILICONE HOSE (Model TSI) is a heat- and cold-resistant food-grade silicone hose designed for transferring food, beverages, hot water, edible oils and other compatible process media.
Its silicone-rubber construction remains flexible from -30°C to +150°C, while polyester-thread reinforcement provides pressure resistance without internal metal-wire reinforcement. The hose has minimal odour and elution, helping reduce its effect on the taste and smell of transferred products.

- Animal or vegetable oils exceeding +70°C
- Vacuum or suction applications
Silicone rubber has relatively high gas permeability. Any application involving compressed gases requires careful technical evaluation.

Frequently Asked Questions for TOYOX® TOYOSILICONE HOSE
Is TOYOSILICONE HOSE suitable for vacuum?
No. Standard TSI hose does not contain spiral-wire reinforcement. For suction or vacuum service, use TOYOSILICONE-S HOSE (TSIS).
Can it operate continuously at +150°C?
The overall published temperature range reaches +150°C, but actual allowable temperature and pressure depend on the transferred medium. Hot water, edible oil and steam have lower specific limits.
Is it suitable for steam?
Only for short-duration saturated-steam cleaning below 0.2 MPa at +130°C. It should not be used for continuous steam delivery.
What is the maximum working pressure?
It depends on the hose size. Smaller sizes are rated up to 1.0 MPa, most medium and large sizes up to 0.5 MPa, and the 50.8 mm size up to 0.3 MPa.
