SAE 100 R8 Hydraulic Hose is a lightweight thermoplastic hose designed for medium to high-pressure hydraulic applications requiring compact dimensions, flexibility and excellent abrasion resistance.
Compared with conventional steel-wire hydraulic hoses, its synthetic-fibre reinforcement reduces weight and allows easier routing through restricted spaces. Special non-conductive versions are available for hydraulic equipment operating near electrical hazards.

- Inner Tube: Seamless thermoplastic tube, commonly nylon or polyester elastomer
- Reinforcement: One or two braids of high-tensile synthetic fibre
- Outer Cover: Abrasion, weather and chemical-resistant thermoplastic, commonly polyurethane

- Temperature Range: -40°C to +100°C, depending on the hydraulic fluid and hose specification
