Dredge Discharge Hose

ASHFLEX® Dredge Discharge Hose is designed for discharging seawater, silt, sand, slurry and other abrasive dredging materials. Its heavy-duty construction provides excellent abrasion resistance, structural strength and protection against external impact.

The multi-layer reinforcement and embedded steel-wire coils help prevent kinking, crushing and deformation under local loads. This makes the hose suitable for demanding dredging, reclamation, marine and offshore operations.

Typical Hose Construction

• Inner Tube: Thick, abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber with a high-strength buffer layer for maximum adhesion to the hose reinforcement
• Reinforcement: Multiple layers of high-strength synthetic reinforcement with excellent tensile and crack resistance
• Steel-Wire Support: Embedded steel-wire coils help prevent kinking, crushing and deformation under local loads
• Outer Cover: Heavy-duty synthetic rubber resistant to abrasion, weather, seawater and oil
• External Protection: Available with light-orange spiral wear indicators or a heavy black buffer layer coated with light-orange polyurethane
• Temperature Range: -25°C to +80°C
• End Connections: Built-in flanges or other custom connections available
• Sizes and Lengths: Customised according to dredging-system requirements
