Steam Hose 18 Bar

ASHFLEX® Steam Hose 18 Bar is specially engineered for conveying high-temperature saturated steam in industrial and mechanical applications. Manufactured with premium EPDM rubber compounds and double steel-wire braid reinforcement, it provides excellent resistance to heat, pressure, weather and demanding operating conditions.

Its red outer cover allows easy identification of steam service lines and may be pin-pricked to release permeated steam, helping prevent blistering or separation of the hose cover.

Typical Hose Construction

• Inner Tube: Smooth black EPDM rubber compound resistant to high-temperature saturated steam
• Reinforcement: Two layers of high-tensile steel-wire braid for pressure strength and stability
• Outer Cover: Red EPDM synthetic rubber resistant to heat, weather, ozone and abrasion
• Working Pressure: 18 Bar (approximately 261 PSI)
• Temperature Range: Saturated steam service up to +210°C
• Colour: Red with contrasting ASHFLEX® branding
• Cover Design: Pin-pricked to help release permeated steam and reduce cover blistering
• End Connections: Dedicated steam fittings and clamps installed according to the application
