ASHFLEX® PTFE Smooth-Bore Hose is engineered for demanding fluid-transfer applications where chemical resistance, high purity, low friction and thermal stability are essential.

Its seamless PTFE inner tube provides a smooth, non-stick flow path with minimal product entrapment. This makes the hose suitable for aggressive chemicals, high-purity fluids and hygienic processes requiring efficient flow and easier cleaning.

Typical Hose Construction

• Inner Tube: Seamless virgin PTFE with a smooth, non-stick bore
• Reinforcement: Single or double stainless steel wire braid for pressure strength and flexibility
• Braid Material: Stainless Steel 304 or 316
• Optional Cover: Silicone, EPDM, polymer-coated braid or another application-specific protective cover
• Temperature Range: Approximately -70°C to +260°C, depending on pressure, hose construction, fittings and application
• Working Pressure: Depends on hose diameter, braid configuration and operating temperature
• Antistatic Option: Electrically conductive PTFE inner tube available upon request
• Food-Grade Option: Compliant PTFE grades available for food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications
• End Connections: BSP, NPT, JIC, camlock, flanges, hygienic fittings and customised connections

Important: PTFE is resistant to many chemicals but is not universally compatible with every medium. Suitability must be confirmed using the exact chemical, concentration, temperature, pressure and exposure conditions.

Temperature Notice: Hose pressure capability decreases as operating temperature increases. Steam and high-temperature service require appropriate pressure derating, fittings, seals and assembly design.
